Log-Lift® was developed specially for the transportation, storage and drying of wood logs. This FIBC is made from UV stabilised polypropylene and is available in various sizes. The Log-Lift can be supplied with a print to 1 or 2 sides.
Net bags are ideal for packing smaller quantities of firewood and kindling. The net bags are available in woven and monofilament fabric, in various colours and sizes and can be provided with a drawstring. NNZ also supplies pallet net for optimal transport and storage of firewood.
SnapLog® bags have a closure system which provides a snap (quick) closure of the net bag. It can not be opened after closure and is strong enough to hold the weight of the bag when lifted. It is easy to lock/close the bag and tests have proven 10% higher packing capacity.
Woven PP bags are the optimum packaging for wood pellets and charcoal. These bags are very strong and can be filled both manually and automatically.
Polyethylene bags are used for packing oven dried wood pellets. These bags ensure clean transportation. PE bags can be supplied in many types and sizes with printing up to 8 colours for quality presentation.
NNZ netbags with Snaplog closing system, Premium Quality, speeds up the firewood packaging process! The netbags are available in black, yellow and orange with and without a branded label. We can advise you in choosing the right firewood packaging.
Firewood packaging must handle heavy loads, sharp edges, and the need for airflow during storage and transport. NNZ supplies log lift bags, net bags, PP woven bags, and PE bags for firewood producers and distributors.
Each type suits a different application. Log-Lift® bags are ventilated FIBCs for large volumes of logs. They allow airflow, support drying both indoors and outdoors, and handle forklift transport. Net bags work well for smaller retail quantities of firewood or kindling, with a visible product that appeals to consumers. PP woven bags are a strong, cost-effective option for wood pellets and charcoal, suitable for manual and automated filling.
Firewood needs airflow to release moisture after cutting. Packaging that traps humidity leads to mold and reduces wood quality. Ventilated bulk bags, including Log-Lift® FIBCs and mesh net bags, use ventilation strips along all sides to let air circulate around the logs. That supports drying during storage and transport and keeps wood quality intact from producer to end user.
Log-Lift® bags are built from UV-stabilized polypropylene for heavy-duty use, supporting loads up to around 2,000 kg. The woven structure resists puncture and abrasion from rough log surfaces. UV stabilization also makes them suitable for outdoor drying and extended exposure to weather. Net bags use strong monofilament or woven fabric that flexes around irregular shapes without tearing under normal handling conditions.
Firewood bulk bags include four integrated lifting loops for forklift handling. This keeps movement controlled and reduces manual labor. Net bags with the SnapLog® closure system lock securely after filling and support the full bag weight when lifted. PP woven bags fill efficiently on automated lines and stack stably on pallets. NNZ also supplies pallet netting for securing firewood loads in transit.
Log-Lift® bags print on one or two sides for product identification or branding. Net bags come in multiple colors and take a label or drawstring, making them well suited for retail display. PE bags support printing in up to eight colors for a strong retail presentation. NNZ advises on which format fits your sales channel best.
Polypropylene, used in Log-Lift® bags, PP woven bags, and many net bags, is a recyclable material. Log-Lift® bags are built for durability and reuse across multiple cycles when properly inspected. Their ventilation design also supports efficient drying, which can reduce energy use in drying operations.
